To Bring Back Chin Peng.....
The war against the communists was over with the signing of the Haadyai Treaty. Now Chin Peng is dead. The government is against him being buried here. To me, it doesn't matter where he is buried. My father was a policeman during those confrontational times. Many of his friends died. Many of our soldiers died too when they were fighting against them in the jungles. Many were also disabled from the mines left by them in the jungles.
To these people and their families, bringing back Chin Peng is like opening an old wound. The younger generations do not know Chin Peng other than from the history books. It is easy to say let the bygones be bygones when we are not the ones who are inflicted by the horrendous actions of this man. Some of us have forgotten what this man had done to our country. To glorify him by making his wish comes true is like giving a standing ovation to him.
Let the bygones be bygones. Let Chin Peng rests in peace wherever he died.

Dua Puluh Sen aje...
The hoohaa over twenty sen...what can you buy with twenty sen these days? How much money do you give your children to spend during recess? Can we still get 5 pieces of candy for twenty sen?
What have we become? Aren't there more pressing issues to handle than the dua puluh sen increase?
If you disagree with the increase...boycott the gas stations. Don't use petrol. Use public transport. You will be doing our country a lot of good...No traffic jams, no pollution....and more twenty sen to spend on other things.
Stop calling names to those who vote for this government. Stop buying petrol. Stop the subsidy mentality and start paying for what you use. Don't expect people to pay for you. Those rich citizens who pay for a lot more taxes than you should be the ones who cry foul.
Dua puluh sen aje pun.
Just Because...
Just because I don't share the same political ideas
Just because I didn't vote for your party
Just because of twenty sen increase in the petrol price....
You called me and the rest like me names..
Bad names...
That I couldn't even spell it out here...
Who do you think you are?
My mother? My father? My sponsor?
Were you the one who gave birth to me?
Who fed me when I was small?
Who sponsored me my education?
Who provided my parents with the housing quarters?
Were you?
Who gave you the absolute right to disgrace others?
Your God?
Definitely not my Allah...
Just because I don't always agree with you.....

A Rebel Without A Cause
I liken Hishamudin Rais to a rebel without a cause. During his university time a very long time ago, Baling was the hottest issue. Every student almost believe in this guy and of course Anwar Ibrahim. He is the older version of Adam Adli in today's world.
Because of Hishamudin Rais , my late father refrained me from applying to study in UiTM. I can study anywhere else but UiTM. You see, my father looked after thousands of students ( or perhaps hundreds) of students who were caught in the demonstration years ago. My cousin and my neighbour were included . Imagine my neighbour had to ferry his own son to the 'detention center'. The thing is....what happen to the cause?
No one goes hungry after that.
Now....the Jalur Gemilang? Come on. Give me a break... Jalur Gemilang is the nation's pride. I don't want any other flag than Jalur Gemilang for my country. I was born with it and I will rather go on the road if anybody wants to change it with any other flag. Find yourself a better cause...otherwise don't call yourself a Malaysian. If you are not happy...paint the inside of your house with the langkasuka flag. You can sleep with it if you want too. Just don't drag the rest of us with your fantasy. Malaysia is always aman when you were away the last time. How I wish you are not here with the rest of us

If It Is Without Malice.....
Let's say....A said something not true about B and let the public knows about it. And then B sued A in the court. Suddenly A withdrawn the statement and said he got wrong information at that time and this makes B withdrawn the charges against A. A did not offer any apology since he said he got the wrong information. What he said or written was without malice.
Senang nya kalau macam tu. A went off scott free. Will he learn his lesson in the future? For a person who is so optimistic like me, my answer is A will never learn his lesson. A is a person who like to expose aib orang. Put his writings in the media for everyone to read. If it is without malice, he can just talk about it with his wife ... No one else will know. Why the need to put it on the social media..if not for everyone to read and to shame these people. What are we teaching our future generations?
Next time check your facts, A. B is certainly a much better person than you. If you keep on doing this, one day everybody will not believe you. It is just like you telling lies ... You are just like the boy who cries wolf. Except.....you are not a boy. You are not half a man, even.

Apa Kaitan Tidak Bayar Saman Dengan Kemalangan - Harakah
I am trying to make sense what was written in the Harakah today. You see I am one of those who read everything available in the medias. The writer wrote that the police are trying to make life difficult for Malaysians by asking these (1.7 million) blacklisted drivers to pay their summons. Not paying their summons have no connection with the accidents.
I beg to differ. Those who do not pay their summons are wrongdoers where traffic problems were concerned. I bet that these drivers are repeated offenders. To make them pay the summons otherwise they will be barred from driving is the only thing that make sense. When it hurts your pockets you will think hundred times before you commit a traffic offense. Please think again before saying that the government is making life difficult for them. It is they who make life difficult for themselves. If you let these offenders on the road, who knows how many lives will be hurt by them? Those who lost their parents, children, siblings and limbs because of their recklessness.
We should be pitying the victims instead of traffic offenders. Let the police do their job. Let the offenders pay for their crimes. To lose ones right to drive on the road is nothing compared to the sufferings inflicted by accidents victims caused by them. If hukum islam is taken into consideration, if these drivers were the cause of someone losing their their body parts, these victims can ask for the body parts of the offenders to be cut/remove. So losing their right to drive is no punishment at all . It is only an inconvenience .

Egypt
What happened in Egypt should never had happened. Hundreds of lives were lost. Innocent civilians were killed outright by the army. Looks like civil war is going to happen soon in Egypt. All because of political differences. I did write before in one of my blogs that it is the politicians who are the terrorists...how true..it happened in Egypt in the name of the army.
Should Malaysia cut the diplomatic ties with the present government? What will happen to the thousands of Malaysian students if we cut the diplomatic ties with Egypt? Where are they going to turn to for help? What will happen to their studies? Will they be able to continue their studies elsewhere if the worst is to happen? Can Malaysian universities absorb thousands of extra students?
It is easier to cut ties but the implications of cutting the ties should be looked into seriously. Once we sever the ties can we expect Egypt to accept us again when everything is well once again? Does Turkey cut ties with Egypt due to this bloodshed? I certainly condemn the army for doing this to the civilians. That's all that I can do...to condemn ..but the Egyptians have to rise again for their country. There's nothing much the foreigners can do to help them except to sympathise with them. Those who speak so loudly against Malaysian government for not making a stand, would you be willing to carry guns for the Egyptians? I salute you if the answer is yes!
Egypt has undergone this turmoil before , I think. Those days during Anwar Sadat. I am not familiar with the Egyptian history. The Egyptians will rise again for their country. It will take time and ....blood.

Bring Those Laws Back
Who repeal the EO? (Emergency Ordinance)... Who now complained about the increase in shootings? 2600 criminals were let out, and around 20 shootouts took place..that means less than 1% shootings took place. Then again the shootings or gunning down that took place were mostly among gang members...what does that means?
I am trying to make sense of what is happening around me..Am I scared of the current situation? You bet I am. I am afraid for my children and the future generations..Bring the laws back again. Those who repeal for the laws were not the majority Malaysians.. They are the politicians who were desperate for votes. Why blame the police now when they were the ones who repeal the laws? Why aren't they patrolling the neighbourhoods when they are the ones who repealed the laws? They always blamed others but never themselves. Do you think I am that stupid? To accept everything they did was right?
All I can say is that those people who repealed the laws never thought through what they did. They are not proactive in their thinking. They only think for that moment never never the consequences of their action. They fight for the rights of the criminals but never the rights of the ordinary people on the streets. And now they blamed the police for their HUGE HUGE mistakes. They have the guts to ask where the guns come from. You are talking about criminals here...They know where to find the guns, s*****, or are you so s*****, that you can't even think of that???
Bring all those laws back again. We, the ordinary Malaysians need them. Of course those who repealed the laws are the ones who wants to break all kinds of laws against them. What more can I say....

Meritocracy
I have no problem with meritocracy..no problem at all if everything is on an equal playing field. Almost all students in the urban areas have excess to better facilities than those in the rural areas. I am not surprised if many students in the urban areas scored better grades than those from rural areas. They should ....with all the tuitions, internet connections, workbooks etc etc, they have no reason not to score.
The same goes to students from boarding and elite schools. They have better teachers and better facilities and they should score better. No excuse, period. But what about those students from the rural areas? There are no tuition centres to go to if they failed to understand those subjects taught in school.....no extra workbooks since they are too poor to buy them. Workbooks are luxuries to these students since food is the utmost important thing in their lives. No internet to connect them with the outer world... If they scored in their exams, it means they are much better than those from urban areas. If they got 4 to 5 A's, they are still much better than those who got the same grades from the urban areas. Just imagine what would they score if they are given the same facilities as those from the urban areas. I am pretty sure they can score much better.
So in this situation, meritocracy is just an unfair practice to them. They should be given opportunities to further their studies than those who scored the same grades from the urban areas. Those who championed meritocracy without taking any consideration for those who have limited access to better facilities are just being unfair. The government should seriously consider all factors before awarding any scholarships to students. In all fairness, these students deserve the scholarships to further their studies. Must we forget them and let their future generation be poor like them since all we care is meritocracy? If we think meritocracy is the only factor to award scholarships then we are only selfish and we failed miserably to be fair and just.
We are not the only ones entitled to free education. There are other people who deserved them more than us. What's wrong of paying our own education if we can afford it. Why not share free educations with others instead of taking everything that seems to be ours? Your right? Aren't they Malaysians and they have rights too? Can't we do the honorable thing to let others taste some success too? Can't we sometimes step aside and say there are other people who need the scholarships more than us? Can we?

Blackout 505
To me the blackout 505 had died a natural death. The numbers of participants had dwindled from the first blackout. With the haze, nobody wants to expose themselves for long hours, save for a few hardcores who have camped themselves at Padang Merbok. I guessed these people have no real jobs or have they gone back to work since today is Monday?
Why did I say the blackout had failed? Well ..there is no follow through...For the blackout to be successful, they have to do it day and night 24/7. Everyone of them with no exception. This was not done. The leaders only come to give their speeches for an hour or two and then they go home. The followers come and listen that's all. Unlike Egypt ...the PR supporters have to go to work...to make money etc ..whereas the egyptians have valid reasons to fight the government, the PR supporters only fight the SPR for alleged misconduct in GE13. There is a vast difference there. The Egyptians are poor and the PR supporters are not. The Egyptians have every reasons to topple their government and the PR supporters do not. The Egyptians camped out facing all the elements and the PR supporters brought tents and face masks since they can't even sleep outside without some comforts. The Egyptians have to face tear gases, water canons and some brutality but the PR supporters don't. So after a while the gathering loses steam....a lot of steam since Anwar Ibrahim said there's no more gathering for the time being.
With all the 89 representatives taking oath today...they endorsed the SPR!!! Any Tom Dick and Harry can see through them. They are just like Tin Kosong, noisy but nothing else.

Something for the police to ponder
My late father was a policeman. A very dedicated one. He was one of those who was so proud of the PDRM. But what I want to write today is not about my father. It is meant for the police to ponder, and make lawful some of the things I have in mind.
Most of us had bad experiences with the lawbreakers in more ways than one. I for example had my house burglarized into and had experienced more than one snatch robbery. Eventhough the thieves failed in both occasions to take my bags, my daughter had hers taken and she was pushed hard that she suffered a lot of bruises.
This is what I recommend for the police or the court for that matter to do. For the first offense, make it a minimum of five years imprisonment. For the second offense, make it a minimum of ten years imprisonment and for the third offense, make it twenty years imprisonment. So for the hardcore snatch thieves, we will not see them in the 'market' for at least twenty years. All Malaysians will be safe then.
This goes for other offenses that basically done by hardcore criminals. Be it robbery, rape, bribery and such. With heavier penalties, criminals will at least think twice before they do anything stupid. Some lawyers will say that we suppressed human rights..what about the rights of the victim?
Since to banish them is out of the question.....the other alternative is to imprison them for a long time. A really long long time. And if possible with hard work. Make them useful..cheap labor for building roads , planting rubber, oilpalms etc etc. make them work at the quarries. This will make them think hard that crimes do not pay.

Yogurt
I have been making my own yogurt for quite sometime now. I am one of those people who do not like to drink milk so yogurt is a very good alternative. My first encounter with yogurt started with the dadih from the pasar tani . I don't like it since it was very sweet. However my children love them, and they can't have enough of them. So every week my fridge will have new stock for the kids.
Then I started buying the yogurt with fruits from the supermarkets. Again my children loved to eat them. As usual I do not like he sweet taste. I have to have them for my calcium supply since I don't like milk. That's when I discover plain yogurt. You can just add a small amount of honey to it to make it less sour. You can add muesli to it too. Fruits, nuts or anything that you like. I love to have hem for breakfast.
Making your own yogurt is super easy. You just need milk and store bought plain yogurt as a starter. You can also determine the level of sourness. The longer you left it out at room temperature, the more sour it becomes. I usually left it out for eight hours to set and it does not taste too sour. I use full cream milk for a more creamy yogurt. And I have become quite an expert of making yogurt.
For those who love yogurt, you should try those made from buffalo milk....the one from Kedah. It is very nice but it leaves an aftertaste that I don't quite like. And those yogurt from Vietnam.......how I wish I can make those. I have been looking around for those yogurt here .....anyone knows any supermarkets which sell Vietnamese yogurt??

Ohhhh The Toilets
I was in Hanoi for a short holidays and most of the toilets are super clean except the one in the market. Can I say the same about our Malaysian toilets? A big NO. Clean public toilets in Malaysia are almost non existence. It is a real pity that 2020 is just around the corner and we are far..really far from having clean public toilets.
We had a pit stop near Tham Coc famous river cruise, the restaurant was not a 5 star eating place, but the toilets really deserved a 6 stars. The tap was automatic...there's a tap in the loo area and the toilet was super dry and super clean. As a Muslim, I was really happy that I did not have to tip toes around the toilets less my pants got dirty. I wonder how they can keep dry the place when there was a tap inside. In Malaysia you can expect the floors to be wet. Anything when wet will invite a host of bacterias and make the place really dirty. This was not the only clean toilet that I visited in Vietnam. There were a lot more clean toilets that make me wonder...are all toilets in Vietnam this clean or only the ones in the touristy places? Whatever it is...the first impression is the most important , right?

Mesti ada hikmah disebaliknya
Congratulations to those students who were offered scholarships to study abroad. All of you must be over the moon, grinning from one ear to another ear. To those who did not qualify for the scholarships do not feel sad..the scholarships are limited . Not everyone who scored good grades can get them.
One of the those failed to get a scholarship to study abroad is Ridhwan, my son. He was quite disheartened. My eldest son, Nabil got the scholarship six years ago. Ridhwan wanted to follow his brother's step to study in USA, but he did not get the scholarship. Well...he did get straight A's in his SPM but Allah knows best what is good for him.
However, he got a scholarship from one of the GLCs to study at one of the local private universities. Both his father and I are happy whether he studies locally or abroad. Mesti ada hikmahnya yang dia tak dapat pergi overseas to continue with his studies.

Why Anwar Ibrahim is NOT a Prime Minister material
I am glad that Anas Zubedy wrote in his blog on the above matter. He is a well known figure and his writings will carry more weight than mine. I am just a housewife who is trying to make sense of what is happening around me. Anwar Ibrahim..a very charasmatic leader who lost it all years ago. He had tasted the sweet taste of power and he is not able to let it go. It is like an addiction to him. POWER...that can bring wealth and everything else along with it.
Here are some reasons why he cannot be the Malaysian Prime Minister.
1. He is an ex convict. He was jailed for abuse of power. He was the Deputy Prime Minister, a very powerful position. If as a deputy, he can abuse his power..what more as the Prime Minister. Go figure.
2. He speaks badly of Malaysia to the world. It is just not accepatable. How can you talk like that and at the same time you want to be the Prime Minister. You make Malaysia look bad in the eyes of the world and yet you want to be a Prime Minister. When things are against you, everything is bad about the government. You are the only good one. You should be ' you and the malaysians against the world' if you want to be the Prime Minister. Be like Fidel Castro.
3. He is a man of no principle. A quality needed to be a prime minister that he does not have. A man of many faces. A different man to a different crowd. A different promise to a different crowd. Watch all the videos then you will know what I mean. He can surely talk. That's what he does, talk, and talk and talk but without any substance. He can just retract anything to suit his whims and fancies. Kejap nak resign, kejap tak nak resign. Boleh pening kepala kalau dapat leader macam ni. When the tough gets going.....cabut overseas for rakyat to bear the consequences
4. A man of questionable morality. A prime minister needs to be seen to be clean. He does not. A lot of questions were left unanswered. A simple yes or no becomes so complicated that the rakyats were made confused. Even in his trial, he didn't answer simple questions and yet blamed the government on conspiracy theory. The conspiracy theories has become his trademark. Watch all his press conferences...kalau you cakap I saman you. A dictator in the making. Where have all the freedom of media/speech gone to and all the transparency gone to. If he is bisexual as some people thought him to be, the more he should not be the prime minister since he is tergolong dari orangorang yang dilaknati Allah. Enough said.
5. A man who did not fulfill his promises. A manifestoes is not a promise. So should we trust a man like that? A man who can promise the stars and the moon but can't even fulfilled a simple promise to provide water to the rakyats. I was one of the rakyats who have to carry water for almost a week. A rakyat who has backpain and nobody to help carry water for her except for her two year old granddaughter.
These five main reasons are good enough not to let Anwar Ibrahim becomes the prime minister. Other reasons being suka street politics, a person who wants power so much like him should not be given that power less he will abuse it.
Dakwat Kekal yg dikatakan Tidak Kekal
Mine lasted for more than seven days. Of course I took my bath, wash plates, bathed my granddaughter etc...normal household chores. I even laughed at one video showing the finger raw from scrubbing while the rest of the fingers are looking normally good.
Kalau dah niat kita nak buktikan dakwat tu tak kekal kita akan buat apa saja untuk tanggalkannya.
Basuhlah dengan sanitizer yang normally kita tak buat pada hari hari biasa. Kalau selepas mengundi kita tak basuh tangan, takkan dakwat tu nak hilang. Like SPR said, it was one of the measures but the most important thing was the electoral list.
Sebenarnya semua ini bergantung kepada niat kita. Kalau nawaitu kita nak mengundi, the dakwat is ok. Good enough if it lasted for one day. Tapi kalau niat kita untuk 'memburukkan' dakwat tersebut kita akan buat apa saja untuk menanggalkannya. Kita akan gunakan turpentine juga. Siapa nak tahu apa yang kita guna since we were doing it just to prove SPR is guilty as charged. Mana kit nak tahu the number of days that have lapsed before the cleaned finger was shown in the pictures.
Manusia manusia....mereka akan buat buat apa saja just to prove a point. Yang pelik lagi ajaibnya cuma penyokong penyokong PR yang buat...what about penyokong BN?....takkan penyokong BN tak basuh tangan kot? What about penyokong independents? Mereka yang kalah teruk sampai hilang deposit..tak de pun dengar mereka complained pasal dakwat...Fikirlah yang nak dakwat PR, yang complained dakwat PR...buatlah apa saja, dah niat diaorang nak burukkan SPR..belum undi lagi mereka dah question about the indelible ink...kalau saya layan mereka boleh naik darah tinggi. Jadi buatlah apa apa pun...all I care is the electoral list. That's the only thing that make sense to me.

Adam Adli and Hishamudin Rais
In the end, Adam will be just like Hishamudin....fighting for who knows what on the political stage. Another brilliant mind goes to waste. I don't blame him...he is fighting for his principle but not for the whole Malaysian population. The rights of those who voted for the BN government.
I don't want our country to fall into a big mess just for the ambition of one person. Rasullullah saw bersabda 'HaiAbdul Rahman, janganlah kamu meminta pangkat kedudukan!Apabila kamu diberi kerana kamu memintanya, maka hal itu akan menjadi suatu beban yang berat bagi dirimu. Lain halnya apabila kamu diberi tanpa adanya permintaan darimu, maka kamu akan ditolong.'
So all these people who wanted so much to helm the government...Allah will never help you and the thing you want most will be a burden to you. You may think you are good enough...but Allah knows best.
Stop the street demonstrations. Think of the masses...those who want to move on, to work in peace and quiet. I know you have nothing else to do. Get a job..a real job like everyone else. Then perhaps none of you will end up old and grumpy not getting what you want in this life. Has none of you ever thought that by not getting what you want, it might be the best thing that Allah has done for you? You might not be the great leader that you thought you areafter all ,instead you might be the worst leader in Malaysian history. If you really have faith in Allah, you won't go around making noise but instead you must muhasabah...reflect...why Allah never choose you ....why Allah chose someone else?
I really hope that the path taken by Adam will end well. I don't want him to end like Hishamudin and even his idol, Anwar Ibrahim...a bitter old man.

Read and read and read
Read and read and read all the newspapers, articles , blogs or whatever you can read on. Scrutinize and question the articles yourselves. Have an open mind. You can't go wrong ....form your own opinions don't based them on others. Then only....you will know what's written might not allhave been true.
It's the little little things that make you question yourselves. Bahasa yang tersurat dan yang tersirat. It's all there for you to read. Don't read the headlines, read everything...don't start after you have already formed an opinion. Then you are biased. Being biased is terrible since anything you read doesn't matter anymore. You already made judgement..
It's just like being a jury in a court case. Question at every angle. When there is a benefit of the doubt then you know you are being just and fair. When there is no doubts at all, you are being just and fair too. Continue reading all materials, pros and cons...questioning yourselves and all. Believe me you will come out...refreshed!!
What happened years ago between these two political parties should not form a barrier between them. The young people prefers to move forward in the betterment of Ummah. But the senior members prefers to dwell in old matters. As long as you still harp on what had happened nothing good will help the Muslims. Policies were made to help the rakyats, personal views or personal vendetta should not be the main reason for the Ummah not to unite. Like Dr. Zakir Naik always say, what am I going to answer when Allah question me.... What is Nik Aziz going to answer? That Umno cannot be trusted like years ago? But what about now? Are they the same leaders? Like my son Imran always say...Dunia dah berubah...dah semakin maju...takkan kita masih di takok lama.
Is Nik Aziz still wants to say to Allah...saya akan meludah muka mereka? I was not aware of what had happened years ago. Nik Aziz is as old as my late father. The youngs want some closure but the old does not. Kalau keras kepala, tak mahu beralah, susahlah. Kita sama2 seagama, sama2 mengucap dua kalimah syahadah. In Islam, we are brothers...Nik Aziz wants UMNO tolak kebangsaan. Untuk menolak kebangsaan sama juga menolak Melayu sekaligus menolak Islam. Ini semua berkait rapat. I have no problem meletakkan Islam sebagai teratas but it would be better if we do all of it serentak...Islam , Melayu dan Kebangsaan. Sebab makna Melayu pun, sesiapa yang beragama Islam.
As for Hudud, I have no problem with it. Orang yang tak nak Hudud biasanya orang yang prone buat salah. It is not easy to convict criminals with Hudud since we need 4 witnesses. But surely there must be such thing as DNA evidence and the like so in all fairness to the victims and to the accused too.
If all doors are closed to all possibilities of uniting the Ummah, then we are all here to see that our Prophet Nabi Muhammad saw's doa really happening as the world is close to its end. Allah tidak memperkenankan doa nabi saw yang memohon supaya umatnya semua bersatu padu.

Perlembagaan Tanah Melayu
I watched the talk given by a former judge on the above. It was eye opening. I never knew that the Malays were denied a lot of things in order to please the non malays. In the constitution, nothing is mentioned about the chinese and the indians. Malays being a generous lot, let them get their way especially where education is concerned.
According to the constitution, there is no mention of vernacular schools..none, nothing at all. The rights of Malays where Malay Reserved lands are concerned is so refreshing. The Agong and the sultans have every right to proclaim any land as Malay Reserved land. In my last article, I did mention about converting government land into Malay Reserve...and it is provided for in our constitution. Every Malay should listen to this ex judge. He is so knowledgeable...of course since he is a judge. He is not being a racist liked what Anwar Ibrahim claimed. He is talking about the rights of a Malay according to the constitution. To say that he is worst than KKK is mind boggling. He doesn't go around killing people. To say Adolf Hitler is proud of him is a complement to say the least.
He is just telling the Malays what has already being stated in the constitution for more than 56 years. The things that are being agreed by all the races all this while. Only Anwar was making a racist remark about it. He is asking the Malays not accepting bribes. If no Malays accept bribery than bribery will die a natural death.
Come on..google and find out more about the Malay rights.

Cronyism
It should not be an issue pun.
Macam kita pilih ahli persatuan kat sekolah.
And you can just imagine the chaos they will make. Segala kerja tak boleh buat. It is worst than having won a simple majority. And nowhere in this world that the head of opposition be given the ministerial title. Tell me did the Americans do it? The British do it? Sometimes I wonder...are they so stupid or what? Ingat kerja mentadbir negara ni kerja main2 ke?
Do I agree with cronyism? Why not if they can do a good job. Pokok pangkalnya pandai buat kerja dan amanah dalam menjalankan tugas. Pasal rasuah...it depends on the integrity of a person.
It's all up to us. Kita yang menentukan nasib kita sendiri

Tsunami
Tsunami China ke, tsunami Melayu ke, tsunami Malaysia ke.....the tsunami is over. Tsunami jarang2 berlaku, the last big tsunami was like ages ago. It hit Acheh in North Sumatera, India , Thailand and also Malaysia. Many died.
Normally when tsunami occured the casualties are always high. Everybody sufferred. No one is spared. So to equate GE13 with tsunami...I think it is too far fetched. Did the Chinese suffer? Did the Indian suffer? Did the Malay suffer? I do not think so. Yang suffer adalah SPR, tak habis2 kena condemn...yg suffer Majlis Bandaran, banyak sampah and banners kena buang. Yang suffer, Malaysians yang rupa Bangla sebab tak boleh buang undi. ...Yang suffer rakyat sebab takut keluar rumah sebab traffic jams due to perhimpunan haram. These are real victims of the political tsunami.
This Ge13 saw tsunami. Hopefully in GE14 it will be quiet...so quiet that it is a bliss. Why? Sebab rakyat malas nak pergi undi. Baik duduk rumah tengok Ironman 5 ke, superman vs Batman ke, etc etc. I wonder what will happen when nobody votes...nobody wins...Agaknya Anwar Ibrahim nak buat apa ye?

A Must Revamp Malaysian Education System
I wish the minister of education reads my blog. I don't have any followers but I feel some of my ideas work if not now maybe in the future.
Talking about education, the topic which is very close to my heart and I am sure to every parent. How to make all races in Malaysia united? I believe the language is the answer. Not just Bahasa Melayu but also Mandarin and Tamil. The Malays are proud of their BM, so are the Chinese and the Indians.
But our education system are what I consider NOT multilingual and therefore does not contribute to racial unification
We have the national schools, chinese schools and the tamil schools. Our children only learn their mother tounges . Lets keep English out of this first. Why not our school offers Mandarin and Tamil to all students. Make it compulsory for each student to take at least one extra language besides BM. As it is, the Malays only know BM but the chinese know BM and Mandarin, and the indians know BM and Tamil. The Malays lose out on this.
If our students takes another language, at least the Malays knows BM and Mandarin or Tamil, the Chinese knows BM and Mandarin or Tamil. And the Indians knows BM and Mandarin or Tamil. This scenario can materialised if we change the present national school curricular. Our students become not only bilingual but multilingual with English on the side. It is easier to teach them while they are still young like in kindergarten. By the time they finish high school....they will at least able to read newspapers of different language. Then perhaps all newspapers will be more careful of what they writes.
As for BM, the education department has to standardized it. Make it the same for all schools..no exception. Otherwise the national school students are marginalized since they have to take a tougher BM paper. And the Chinese feel they are marginalized because the government does not recognize their UEC for local universities. But the fact remains that to enter the local universities you must at least have a credit for your SPM papers. As it is the UEC BM paper is a lot easier than SPM BM papers. Standardized BM so no students can complain if they are not accepted to local universities.
Every student sits for the same paper. This way they are all on the same playing field.
We must do this. No question about it. When our students can converse in each others language...naturally they can easily become friends. With the present school system, the racial divides is the eventuality. If we go for this system, Malays will not have to send their children to chinese school to learn Mandarin.
Other than language, all students should go for moral studies or civic classes. The education department can include those lessons on ethic, bribery etc. Make books like Bimbingan Muslim, confucious studies etc as references for the moral or civic classes. Teach the children from kindergarten not to throw rubbish everywhere. Parents have to help in this to make our children whole in terms of moral. Kalau nak melentur buluh biarlah dari rebung.
I have no doubt that when all this replace the present system, no rakyat will feel that they are marginalized. Everybody takes the same papers so only the deserving can enter the university. Not because you are a Malay, Chinese or Indian. It is because you fill the requirement.

Cukup Cukup Sudah
Cukuplah...dah tak larat dah ....tak kan nak berkempen lagi? PRU dah over, done with. Kalau tak terima keputusan SPR, beri bukti, failkan kes kemahkamah. Tak payah berhimpun. Malu kat orang. Nampak sangat nak kuasa. If it is not meant to be yours, buatlah macam mana, it is still not yours.
Kenapa nak haru birukan negara?
Cukup cukup sudah...kalau berperangai baik mungkin satu hari nanti saya akan pilih. But not now. Betul, kalau ikut popular vote PR menang. Tapi negara kita mengamalkan system demokrasi yg membuat electoral division (correct me if I'm wrong) mcm USA. Kalau undi bahagian kita kalah, kalah lah jawabnya. Suara rakyat di pendalaman pun kita kena dengar juga. PR cma menang di bandar sahaja. Next time, pergi lah jengok kampong2 pula, mungkin boleh menang.
I am not worried about BN akujanji...tapi nak tengok manifesto PR samada di laksanakan. Dah 5 tahun dulu yg dapat ialah kena angkut air kerana air tak ada. Kalau dlm masa 5 tahun ini juga, kena angkut air lagi...tak kan nak undi PR lagi. It may seem remeh but for an old lady with only a 2 year old granddaughter at home.... Macam mana nak angkat air?
Harga kereta naik ke turun ke no hal, PTPTN dihapuskan no hal, tapi air yg mustahak. It is a basic necessity.
Sakit pinggang saya keluar jalan2 KL pun dah tak tahan. Pada hal dia tua lagi. Boleh share tak ubat apa yg dimakan?
So to all of you out there...accept the choice made by Malaysians. See ya in the next 5 years. In sya Allah. In the meantime kenalah tutup buku dulu kalau tidak bila dah sampai PRU 14, dah tak ada steam, rakyat dah bosan, asyik2 benda yg sama, SPR kotor, pengundi hantu. If you play your cards right mungkin boleh menang.
Kadang2 terfikir juga..kenapa Anwar Ibrahim tak menang. He was so close and yet so far. Ini tentu menyakitkan hati. Adakah sumpah laknat Saiful dah mendatangkan tempias kepadanya? Hanya Allah yang Maha Mengetahui.

It Just doesn't Make Sense
PM Najib has sworn in as the Prime Minister. So are a number of other heads of states. The rakyats have moved on with their lives under the new government.
So it just doesn't make sense to me when Anwar Ibrahim did not recognized this government due to his allegations and yet sent his wife for Lim Guan Eng's swearing in function. When you sent someone as your representative, it means you agree with the outcome of the election. Just because you lose the federal government you did not recognize the BN government. Pening kepala fikirkan telatah dia ni. Kalau dia menang okay kalau tak menang tak okay.
Rakyats have decided. It is not easy to cheat in Malaysian election. Nak Dakwat dah bagi dakwat. Dapat dakwat silap SPR. Nak clean electorate list dah bagi. Dapat list banyak pula pengundi hantu.
Penyokong pula buat policing work macam tak ada rules dalam this country. To these people, buatlah apa pun. Bila buat damn you bila tak buat damn you. There is no way you are right. The best way is pekakkan telinga. Masuk telinga kanan keluar telinga kiri.
Apabila kita dah buat everything to the best of our ability, rest assured Allah akan bersama kita. Kalau kita silap sikit minta maaf kerana we are only human and can do as much. Biarlah Si Luncai terjun dengan labi labi nya.
Janganlah berdendam sangat.
Tak mengapalah kalau tak jadi PM, jadi ketua pembangkang pun jadilah. Jadilah apa2pun asalkan diri kita berhemah. Sama2 lah kita membangunkan negara kita walau kita berbeza pendapat. Yang mustahak bukan kita tetapi Malaysia yang tercinta.

What Next
The election is over and BN has won with a simple majority. So what next? All the pengundi hantu have gone home..i supposed the graveyards are quite now.
Clearly the chinese votes have gone to the DAP. The urbanites who are mostly chinese have made clear that they go for DAP and not BN. Despite everything that has been done to appease them, nothing pleases them better than to govern Malaysia. They already have money, economies etc. Now they want the governing power. It may sound racist but this is a fact. A fact that Malays has to live with. The chinese has been very well taken care of during the last 4 years.
So what next? It's time the well being of Malays are looked after. We are the majority that voted for BN to power. We are the ones that believe this BN government is the best government for all Malaysians.
Here are some suggestions for the present government to think about...
Make it automatic for those who have reached 21 to be a registered voter
Develop the suburbs and not concentrate on the cities
Develop the rural areas especially Sarawak and Sabah
Make sure the basic necessities is enjoyed by all Malaysians
Make sure all students in the national schools (primary and secondary) takes up Mandarin as a compulsory subjects and Tamil as an elective subjects.
Make sure Bahasa Melayu is standardised in all schools (both national and vernacular) . No exception
Include lessons on bribery in moral studies and agama
Make sure we impart knowledge on ethics, civic consciousness all the way throughout student education years.
Convert part of government land as malay reserves so malays can buy those lands.
Develop tanah wakaf as commercial areas for the muslims so more funds can be generated. This must be done as soon as possible. Form a royal commission on this.
Scholarships for all Malays who score all As to study abroad. Most will always feel the gratitude to the government. Those who scores well, finance their education in local universities. We have to do this like we did during the 70s.
So what next? We have to transform ourselves mostly so that GE14 will be on our side.

Malaysian had Decided
The Malaysians had decided that BN should be our next government. Alhamdulillah, syukur kepada Allah. My family and I had done our responsibility. But the Chinese tsunami took place. Despite them being given everything....almost everything that they want. The MCA lost almost every seat ...worst than the last election.
Will there be streets demonstrations? I bet ya. In the short term the PR might benefit from this but in the long run? Malaysians will view negatively on them.
So what next? Reconciliate...that's our PM advice. The Chinese are the ones who are going to lose a lot since there will be no representation from them. But then they already have almost everything. Najib must do something to appease the Malays who voted for him. It may sound racist but I voted for a Chinese, there's nothing racist about it. The Malays must realise that we are losing our politicalstrength and yet we are not where we are supposed to be after 56 years of independence.
Sadly when there is a Malay who made it, the other Malays critised him for making it big. Tell me, how many malays are there in the richest person list in Malaysia? Can't we be pleased for him? Why create unnecessary sentiments to other races as if all the richest people are Malay?
Malaysia is at a cross road...of becoming a matured country..where there will be a two parties system. It is good but at the same time disturbing since the Chinese vote only for the opposition. There's no racial balance at all.
The election has ended. To those who win, there is a tough road ahead, so be careful and all the good luck to you. Be fair to all of us. To those who lost, don't be a sore loser..you cannot build Malaysia in one day. To me the election is fair, the SPR has tried to satisfy all your want. What more can you ask ...the result shows itself..only a simple majority.
Set our differences aside..it's time to move on and build our country to its greatest heights. After all we are all Malaysians
No more politicking for the next 5 years. We have had enough. Enough said

Ask not
Ask not what your government can do for you.....ask what you can do for your government. In a way I have tried to do this from the time I attended a leadership course during my university days. I became a housewife after 2 years of working in the private sector. I was a JPA scholar and at that time we were not asked to pay back even if we do not work with the government. There were around 2,000 students during my time and now the university has more than 20,000 students.
You may say that there is nothing much I can do for the government...you are right. But I believe that by raising my five children well, at least they do not become a nuisance to us and at least not to the government too. We tried to finance our children's education ourselves, not resorting to scholarships when our children studied locally. When my children complained that their friends have a lot of money from the scholarship, we told them that they are free to work with any organizations when they graduate. To us, the government does not owe us anything. It makes us independent and resilient. I want my children to make it on their own.
Our government may have their faults but for the last four years it has tried its best to rectify it. If we can give another chance to our loved ones why can't we do the same to our government. Why not transform the thing that we already have than to have another government that we are not sure of who can bring our Malaysia to another level.
Remember, the politicians runs the government. In their haste to win the parliament, the political parties put up any Tom, Dick and Harry ( fruit seller, hospital attendants etc) in their parties. Not that I say they cannot perform ( people can change) but to put these unqualified people as ministers....I wonder......Politicians can talk but can they do the actual jobs? There are politicians who underperformed when they work in work organizations...Do we expect them to perform in the government?? If they have lost a lot of money for their companies...what are the chances when they run the government when there is a lot of taxpayers money around? These politicians should ask themselves whether they are qualified to run a country.
The way I see it, they have their own interest at heart not the rakyats' interest. I dare not think what will happen when these people take over the government. They will change the top brass of all the GLCs...who are they going to put in replace? The Abrar people who have lost hundreds of millions until Abrar Finance worth only RM1??? Why replace these people when they have done a good job of running these companies?? So that they can have a free hand to the monies? Remember these new people never taste power before...when they have power, can you imagine what they will do? We have seen some of them have collected untold wealth during their five years governing certain states....can you imagine the untold damage Malaysia will have if this thing happens?
Can you imagine a fruit seller becomes the head of Petronas? A shopkeeper becomes Minister ofInternational Trade? A failed financier becomes the governor of Bank Negara? Do they have enough qualified people to run the GLCs. As it is , in the four states that they govern, to fill in certain positions is already a headache for them.
When they say change....they mean the people..but when I say change, I mean change the systems...Transform is a better word.
I am just a housewife but at this time my Malaysia needs me the most. This is all I can do for Malaysia. My one and only vote.

My Garden
So far we have had one cantaloupe, two pomegranate, one anona (very sweet and of a good size), one bitter gourd and a lot of mulberries from my garden. My lemon trees have grown tall, one is even taller than I am. Oh yes we have a lot of calamansi limes.
Other trees that are growing well are avocadoes, jackfruit, passionfruits, mango, cashew, soursop, persimmon, and my buah berangan ( I just couldn't remember the english name for it). 0oh it's the chestnuts. I hope to transplant them in my orchard soon. I have not cleared the land yet. Hopefully I can do that before the year ends. I have been trying to get the fig trees or at least the cuttings for my orchard. They are still in the experimental stage in Malaysia. Will try the ebay.
Kenyataan Bapa Saiful
I believe, Malaysians are sensible people . The statement made by Saiful's father should not be taken seriously by us. Both statements, before he joined PKR and after he quit from PKR are irrelevant. He is a father of the victim not the victim himself. He can retract his statements at any time.
The most important statement is Saiful's. he is the victim. So his statement is more important than anyone's elses. He has been very consistent all this while. I am really surprised that at his age he is not easily swayed. He stood by his statement. He is such a strong person and so resilient. Two characteristics that are hard to find in young people nowadays.
Saiful's statement that brought Anwar to court. Anwar was aquitted due to technicalities but the judges believed that the event did take place. Saiful's statement matters not anyone else's. not even his father's.
NFC versus PMBK
With the news that Nik Aziz has a lot of land in Kota Baru made me wonder aloud....what's the difference between Nik Aziz and Dr. Saleh? One bought land under his name using PMBK money and the other bought condominiums with NFC money.
NFC money is the loan that Dr. Saleh took from the government. A loan. Did Nik Aziz took a loan from PMBK to buy the land? He was said to be a trustee for PMBK. What if PAS lose in the next GE? Will he revert the land to the next government? Does he have a side agreement with PMBK that says he is only a trustee? Why only his name and not a combination of names to prevent abuse of power? Like signing of cheques where 2 or more directors have to sign on the cheques to prevent a lot of mismanagement. To me, making a single name is a very bad decision making on the part of PMBK. What happens when Nik Aziz dies?
Dr. Saleh made a bad decision when purchasing the condos...perhaps he didn't get good advice from his legal advisors by not having a side agreement being a trustee for his company. He and his family paid a heavy price for not doing it the right way.
Let's just hope that Nik Aziz has an agreement with PMBK saying he is a trustee otherwise he is worst than Dr. Saleh...using public fund for personal use. At least Dr.Saleh is paying for the loans. PAS ....please provide all the necessary documents to clear Nik Aziz of all the mess. Don't just say he is a trustee ....show proof.

PTPTN if abolished
This is what I think will happen if PTPTN is abolished and free education for every students..
1. All IPTS will be closed down. Only public universities still exist since only the government will be offering free education.
2. Lecturers from IPTS will be out of jobs since their IPTS are closed down. The number of unemployment will be increased. Public universities cannot absorb these lecturers since they do not have money to pay these lecturers.
3. There will be no or less grants for lecturers from public universities to carry out researches.
The quality of education will drop. No local or overseas exposures for these lecturers, so the education level will stagnant, no new things will be taught to the students.
4. Students will take it easy and a long time to finish their studies since education is free. There is no hurry and this will prevent new students from entering the university. So a lot of dropouts. More problems since higher unemployment rates.
5. Less students will enter universities since only education is free but not the living expenses. Only those who can afford will enter the universities. Those who are poor will lag behind. The poor will stay poor and the rich will stay rich. Only with education the poor can become rich.
6. If the government pays for living costs, individual income tax will be very high. That's where the government gets the revenue.
7. Petronas...a short term solution. Petronas will bleed to death...then what?
PTPTN will be established again....the cost will be expensive. No more Petronas money to pump in..only the banks and the interest won't be at 3% it will be at 10 - 12% . Very few families can afford to send their kids to university even with PTPTN..but the damage has been done...due to short sightedness of our politicians.
UEC qualification
There is no problem for me if the PR government wants to recognize UEC. There will be many ways then to enter the university. I for one value meritocracy....an equal playing field. Most students who enter the university have either SPM, STPM, A Level, Matriculation, SMA qualifications.
What is the common denomination of these students. All the students sat for BM papers set by the Ministry of Education. If I am not mistaken, the BM papers taken by those sitting for UEC is entirely different from the rest. A friend of mine who has children studying in the Chinese schools said UEC BM papers is very much easier than SPM BM papers.
If we value meritocracy so much...why not these students take the same BM papers as the rest? Then everybody has an equal playing ground. Then I am sure the rest of us has no objection to UEC being recognized..since everybody takes the same paper. Why the Chinese in the national school can do that? They are even better than the Malays where BM is concerned. I know this since my daughter's best friend is a Chinese and her BM is better than my daughter's. There should not be any preferential treatment since Bahasa Melayu is our national language..
If this small change takes place, I then have no problem at all with UEC ...otherwise let every student take the UEC BM papers. But then again the quality of BM will be compromised...OR
Every student takes MUBMT. ( malaysian university bahasa melayu entrance test) then everything will be fine...just like every student has to take MUET to enter the university. Any other suggestions...so that we can recognize UEC?

Can You?
I thought of refraining myself from writing about GE13 again. But what can I say? It is an important issue to me...
The police have received a lot of complaints lately especially after the nomination date. Supporters with knives, machettes etc....And now bombing? Are Malaysians becoming hooligans just because we don't see eye to eye with each other? People....politics is only a part of everyday life. It is not the ONLY part. You have to go to work, live with your family, your neighbours, your work colleagues....If the situation does not warrant you to have a peace of mind...what then? Blame the politicians?
To the politicians, the general election is a game for winning..at any cost. We the rakyats must evaluate them rationally. Not at the expense of losing our harmony. Not at the expense of fighting with each other. We are the ones who are going to lose. We are the ones who are going to suffer.
Don't just follow the politicians blindly. Read all the newspapers, utusan, star, harakah, suara keadilan etc etc Watch the ceramahs if you want. Don't let your hatred clouded your judgement. None of the politicians is perfect. They are only human. They make mistakes. But can you live with their mistakes? Can you live with their policies? Can you live with their imperfections? Only you can answer that.
We, Malaysian must have political maturity. With this we choose the best government whom we think can bring us and our country forward. Accept the differences between us with open mind and hearts. Basically we want the best for our future and the future of our country. Don't lose that....otherwise we are no different from the people of Egypt, Syria, Libya....they lost everything.
We too can lose that....everything

A Letter From ROS
I have read the letter concerned in the social media. Nothing strange or extraordinary that will make DAP leaders jumping around angry. The letter merely stated that ROS do not recognized their CEC members . That's all. There's nothing written that DAP will be barred from contesting in GE 13.
So when Lim Guan Eng made some hoohaa about using PAS or PKR symbols, any body will see through him that he is manipulating the letter. To me...what's the problem? Do another CEC election and the problem is solved. What's so difficult about that? It is as simple as ABC. It is just like any society in school when the members are not satisfied with the central committee election, they will complain to the advisor who is normally the teacher and the teacher will ask the election to be conducted once again. No headmaster was involved.
Unless the committee doesn't want the members to find out certain things, nor they want the advisor to know anything, then they will make some hoohaa. From here any idiot will know that the committee members are made up of people that cannot be trusted.
The DAP is luckier than UMNO . UMNO was banned once upon a time. No members complained...they registered back the party..as simple as that. DAP should take some cue from what had happened to UMNO and not making silly excuses. You can fool some people some time but you can't fool all the people all the time. What will happen when you win the election but you lose in your party CEC reelection? Too much chaos ....might as well you settle everything before the election for your sake and your party's sake too.

5 Years Under PR
The good, the bad and the ugly under PR 5 years rule. This is from my personal experience of being a rakyat in Selangor.
The Good - I did not have to pay for my water bills. This basic necessity is given free to me. In fact in my last bill there is a credit of RM2 something. Does this make a difference if I have to pay for water bills? In a way, it is good to get something free sometimes but it doesn't make a difference to me since my water bill is low around RM6 a month. In 5 years I have save RM360.
The drains in front of my house were cleaned every fortnight. But this only happened on the first year only. After that nobody comes and clear the drains. But then again there's not much rubbish in them since My family do not throw rubbish everywhere.
The Bad - The roads have not been resurfaced properly. As I have said in my previous blogs....the government before did a very good job in maintaining the roads. The road leading to Jelebu from Hulu Langat was terrible. Grasses have encroahed the roads surfaces. The minute you reached the N9 border, you will find that the roads are in better condition.
Even when they resurface the roads, it was not done properly. The potholes still exist.
The Ugly - My house was robbed...not only my house, more than 3 houses in my taman were buglarised. None of us were at home at those times. The state government should work together with the police to ensure the safety of the people and their properties. A snatch thief took my daughter's money and handphone and pushed her to the ground. She suffered from bruises all over her body.
The coruptions still happens. Someone close to me was asked to make a different invoice for the local government for certain services. Mind you , this person in under PR. So much talk about anticorruption but the reality is corruption still happens.
Do I suffer under PR ? The answer is no. Do I feel there is a difference between BN and PR rule? So far the answer is still no. Do PR deserve another 5 years? 5 years is a very long time to be given to any party to govern Selangor. With so much controversies like selling land for low cost properties, UNISEL problem, Talamgate, Yapeim land, sand mining too mention a few, I don't think that PR has the expertise of governing a state. It is still okay if the state is in status quo as before but too much damage has been done, too much promises has not been kept, too much land and properties have been sold.
They do not deserved a second chance.

2008 versus 2013
The political scenario in 2008
A number of human turned to frogs.....they jumped from one party to another
The political phenomenon in 2013.....
Not much different....instead of turning to frogs, the 'toads' are jumping from one seat to another.
What do you expect from the frogs/toads in the future elections?....the answer is very simple...What else can the frogs/toads do except jumping all around?

BN versus PR
After spending a few hours reading pages of blogs, here is what I conclude:
When you read PR blogs, BN has no chance of winning but then when you read BN blogs, there is no way PR will win this election.
So how?

Bad Bad Roads
One thing that I look forward to during the election is roads being resurfaced. Then I will have a smooth drive everywhere. No potholes,, brand new paints...brand new roads everywhere.
Alas it is no more. Potholes still exist, resurfacing was done very badly like melepas batuk di tangga.
Election is around the corner and the condition of the road in my place is bad as being compared to the previous pre election condition. It may not be much but I value the safety of road users.
Hope against hope...
Will the roads be properly resurfaced after the polling day?
Aku Janji versus Manifesto
I have read The Star, Utusan Malaysia, Suara Keadilan, Harakahdaily, the blogs and almost every possible links related to these two issues.
I must say there are similarities between the two. I am a rakyat..... who would not be happy if the price of fuel will be reduced, electricity tariff be reduced, PTPTN is abolished, jobs will be created, more affordable houses for the masses, price of the cars will be reduced etc etc etc...
But at what price...when I asked my daughter about the PTPTN, her answer was, I applied for the loan, I signed the agreement to payback so I will keep my part of the agreement. She's paying RM350 a month after working more than two years. Before that it was my husband who service the loan.
I would be happy to see the electricity bill cut to a few dollars. My family has a very high electricity bills due to the high usage of airconditioning units. To me, when I used it I will pay for it. The only way to reduce the electricity bills is to throw away all the airconditioners away but Sarah will go bonkers and everbody in the family suffers when Sarah goes bonkers. In the house, she has a huge say where airconditioning and food are concerned. You would not like her when she is hot and hungry. Other than that she is a very doting daughter.
The price of fuel doesn't make a huge impact in my life. I only use the car to send my children to school and tuition. A trip to the supermarket that is nearby also doesn't make a huge dent in my pocket. A RM50 for fuel for more than two weeks supply is all I need. My husband's fuel charges will be paid by the company. We often use the LRT for our transportation purpose. So it doesn't matter if the price of petrol is high. Most rakyats use the motorcycles to travel to and from work eventhough they have cars.
I would like very much the government to develop more affordable houses for the masses. I have five children and one day they will need to have their own houses for their family. Houses are too expensive to own. Developers are making tons of money at the expense of people. Worst still some of the developers abandon their projects and the buyers suffer. Blacklist both the companies and the individuals and their families from doing business ever again. Sounds harsh...no it is not harsh when you think of the hardships and monies involved. These people are greedy and if I have my way...they should be shot by the firing squad. Then no developers will swindle the buyers. Both the AkuJanji and the manifesto mentioned affordable houses. BN has started the PR1MA projects...Penang sold the land meant for low cost houses to a 'hospital'., Selangor sold a formerly low cost house sites for a high end condos that Malaysians couldn't afford, Kedah made a requirement of 50% must be sold to Malays etc etc etc. Who will I choose? BN or PR?
Where cheaper price of cars is concerned,
...I for one do not know the difference from one brand of car to another. When I was young, a friend of mine asked me what car he was driving, I answered Datsun...he was quite offended and told me it was an Alfa Romeo. If people can be color blind I can be car blind too. Too me all cars are the same, it is just a mode of transportation. If cars are a lot cheaper, I would not be buying too because there is no space to park them either at home or the shopping centres or at the LRT stations. Pollution will be higher since many more will own cars since the fuel price will be low right....and the traffic congestions will be unimaginable . Nobody will use the public transport anymore. Oh...what a chaos.....
What I would like to be included in both manifestoes,
For the politicians to say good things if the opposite sides had done a good job. If not, give contructive suggestions so better things can be done.
For the supporters to refrain from saying bad things , bad words when the opposites have different opinions from yours.
To stop campaigning as soon as the polling day is over. I have had enough ....enough said.
Is it too much to ask?

It Just Doesn't Make Sense
When BR1M was introduced by the government.....a lot has been said about it.
1. It is the rakyats' money. Of course it is the rakyats' money. But if the government doesn't want to give to the rakyats, what can the rakyats do? The government is prihatin enough that's why BR1M was formed.
2. The ones received them are like animals being given hampas (animal feeds). The ones who received them were those having less than RM3,000 a month. To liken them to animals are heartless. I have seen those retirees with a lot of savings still lined up for BR1M and yet these people vote for the opposition. But Najib's government did not discriminate since they do not have monthly income.
To me, tangan yang memberi lebih baik dari tangan yang menerima.
Now...when Selangor government give RM300 to the civil servants....ooh tidak, apa pun tidak dari opposition. Di sini cuma jumlah dan penerima sahaja yang berbeza. RM300 and semua kakitangan kerajaan tanpa mengira gaji. During budget 2013, all these people have received their bonuses...kalau bukan untuk memancing undi ..untuk apa? It just doesn't make any sense. Untuk penghargaan? What about the private sectors employees? They worked hard for Selangor too..why no recognition for them too?
Why discriminate?
Why these people not liken to animals who accept hampas? At least Najib gave to the poor, to those who needed the help. At least he didn't discriminate between the civil servants and the private sectors' employees even the pensioner...
I am just a housewife...what do I know some of you might say. If you are earning a lot...what RM300 given to you means? Especially after the dissolution of the government and the general election is just around the corner? Bukan memancing undi namanya? Don't give me the crap it is for recognition...I just won't buy it.

Hospital Ampang
I bet many rakyats have used the klinik 1Malaysia services. I too have used them. Do they provide good services? You betcha. I had a doctor attending to my problems. You see I sufferred from frozen shoulders a very painful conditions. The doctor immediately wrote a letter to the Hospital Ampang ( this after asking me which hospital is conveniently located near my place)
Of course it took quite sometimes for me to make an appointment to see the orthopaedics. I won't complain since I paid only RM5 for this service. Mind you I have incurred a lot more when I saw the private practitioners. Rm5 for x-rays, medications and diagnoses...no wonder everybody likes to go to the government hospitals.
I was referred to the rehabilitation centre. For a mere RM5 too, the therapists worked on my shoulders for more than 2 hours. The treatments included heat treatment, ultrasound treatment, microwaves treatment and all sort of exercises inclusive of joint mobilisation exercises. They made sure I did all the exercises there and then knowing most of these makciks cheated when they are at home. I did this weekly and this meant I paid only RM20 for eight hours of treatment a month. In between, I saw the orthos for progressive diagnoses.
I am cured from my frozen shoulders after almost 1 and a half years of treatment. I spent less than RM400 for all the treatments. Where else can I get such treatments from the private hospitals at such low price? The doctors are first class, the therapists are first class and the treatments are first class. If they cannot offer me a better medication, they adviced me to buy from the pharmacies.
I am one of those who used to go to the private healthcare hospitals for any minor illnesses. I thought the government hospitals are shoddy and the services are lousy and slow. Slow they maybe because of the huge number of patients but then if you make an appointment you don't have to wait for too long. I'm talking about Hospital Ampang only.
Kudos to the government for providing such excellent healthcare facilities at my place
May Allah has mercy on us
It used to be only the two of us, my husband and I. I have voted almost all the time. During the last election, I voted for the person...not the party. Just to teach the government a lesson or two. My husband did not vote at all. GE12 ...the outcome was disastrous. A few of my friends did the same too..to teach the government but all of us did not want the government to lose in the 5 states. We only wanted to reduce the number of votes.
So this time around, the GE13 will see me , my husband and my 3 adult children at the polls centres. We will exercise our rights as the citizens of Malaysia. I love my country very much and I have the choice of a stable country or otherwise...
I used to be a very big fan of AI , i have followed his trials closely, his interviews etc etc etc. To me, he had not answered important questions directly. A simple answer of ' I am not a gay/bisexual' is enough for me than evading the questions. What had he done to stop the BNM forex scandal when he was in the position to do so? He was the finance minister during that time...( which was conveniently undisclosed by PAS economic advisor). Whatever being said during that forum has been made known in the newspapers long ago. Why discredit a dead man when he was in no position to defend himself? Both of the accused had resign from BNM. If Noor Mohammed had been asked to serve the government again...the government must have seen something good in him. I believed in rezeki Allah yang beri.
In this few months, I have let myself into the social medias just to gain some insights in the political scenes. I do not like what I read or seen. Too much profanities. Too much hatred.
It is just so sad..we Malaysian do not have the maturity of some of the westerners. It is okay to disagree, it is okay to have different ideology, it is okay to have our own opinions. However...it is not okay to impose our ideology to others, to stab back....to badmouth others to say hurtful things just to gain power. That's just not acceptable.
I call upon all Malaysians to open up your hearts and minds. See good in others. Our prophet saw prohibits us from saying bad things about others eventhough it's the truth. If we have sinned Allah, we can ask forgiveness from him since Allah is most merciful. But if we have sinned others, Allah can only forgive us after the others have forgiven us.
May Allah has mercy on all of us Malaysians

Bring it on
I've been ready for the last five years. I've made up my mind. There's no turning back ...no switching of mind. Nobody can sway my decision. It's fixed..It's final
So bring it on. I'm all for taking care of Mysha fulltime.
What do you think? The election?

GE 13...with all the profanities....
It's coming soon. ....
So soon that all the medias are writing about it. Sometimes , out of curiousity I ventured into the social medias just to have some ideas what the rakyats think. My advice is to stay away from it. I for one, could not stomach most (a big capital letter MOST) of what being said there. No , I do not mean the gist of it but the profanities used were just not acceptable.
No decent person should use any of the profanities mentioned in the write up. It makes me cringed with fear that the animosity among the voters are so defined with which party they are voting for. There's no sign of maturity on the parts of the voters.
Hilang segala rasa malu yang telah diajar oleh ibubapa kita. Where have all these gone to? Every five years for most countries, the election fever is caught everywhere. But in Malaysia, the election fever is happening all the time. The ceramahs, the campaignings, the badmouthings...etc etc etc are happening everyday. Are the politicians getting too desperate to gain power.? Don't they know that with power comes the responsibilities....
If only they knew that many of the leaders are penghuni neraka..I'm sure none of them wants to be elected. The only explanation is Neraka tak nampak but the power, the monies, the wealth that comes with the position....is so tempting for many.
Campaign if you must...but leave out all the profanities behind

Refused Entry
I didn't find anything unusual when Malaysia refused the entry of one senator from australia. So I found the hoohaa over this quite perflexed. Malaysia has every right as a souvereign country to do just that. Even if someone who has a clean history can be refused entry by any country. What more if you are involved in belittling our country.
My son Imran was refused a visa to enter USA last year. He is only 13 years old. Do we make noise of it in the media? Heck. No...it is the right of USA to do that even if we cannot understand the reason why. Of course my son was very disappointed but he lived with it. The funny thing he was asking me whether he can further his studies in US? Why not..We will cross the bridge when the time comes.
Why is Anwar Ibrahim so eager to let this senator come to our country? Why didn't
he fight for my son when he was refused a visa to enter USA? Or anybody else who were refused to enter? Again the answer is political in nature. The other night when I listened to a talk given by Dr. Zakir Naik....to quote him..it is the politicians who are terrorists not the ordinary persons......referring to George Bush, Adolf Hitler, Mao Tse Tung, Sadam Hussein, Stalin, etc etc.
So I guess to refuse entry to this senator is justified since he is a politician and therefore a...........

Pineapple Vinegar
I've read a lot of articles on making vinegar. Most said they are pretty easy to make. With the vast benefit of apple cider vinegar, I'm trying to make some for myself. But I'm not using apples instead I'm using pineapples.
Ingredients:
Pineapples including skins
Sugar (I'm using rock sugar)
Filtered water
I've cut the pineapples separating the skin and flesh. I've decided to make one vinegar out of the skin and some flesh and another using the flesh only. I used 2 plastic containers and submerged the fruit in the water and sugar. Since I'm old schooled where cooking is concerned, I just estimate around 1 cup of sugar for one container. I covered the bottles with a piece of cloth and tied it with a piece of rubber band.
What do you know? The next day the 'vinegar' formed a lot of bubbles, so I guessed active fermentation is on the way. It's been 9 days and this morning I strained them into glass bottles and hopefully in 4 to 6 weeks time my vinegar will be ready. Will I be brave enough to put them in my food? Well, that has to be seen when they are ready...otherwise I can always use them as detergent, shampoo, cleaner etc...
